Sadly, we had to postpone our Holiday Toy Event 2020

this year, due to COVID.

We areplanning on doing it in 2021, when it is safe for

all of us to get together.

That may mean, a Spring Break Christmas or

Christmas in July!

We will keep everyone posted.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Working Dreams!

The Holiday Season is quickly approaching!

All of our lives have changed drastically this year. COVID-19 has made everyday life a challenge. Many of us are still sheltering in place, working at home and seeing our family and friends virtually online.

Our children are also in a difficult and sad position of having to attend virtual school classes. As hard as it is for our children to attend school online, imagine how even more difficult it is for Foster Children to keep up their schooling when many do not have computers, laptops or event wifi.

We cannot forget our Foster Children in these trying times.

We are well aware that this is also an economically trying times for all of us.

We are still going forward with our Holiday Toy Event 2020 and it will be different this year. It will be a no contact drive through toy pickup. Foster families will remain in their cars and drive through the Marriott Courtyard Culver City parking lot, open their trunks and the volunteers will place the toys, wrapped in bags, in their trunks. The families will then exit the hotel parking lot. Unfortunately, there will be no arts and crafts tent, no DJ, no magic show by Geebo, no Vision to Learn van, no visit from the Culver City Fire Department and no lunch served to the families.

Our goal is to provide gifts for over 18,000 Foster Children this holiday. With your help, we can reach this goal. Please buy a toy or a gift certificate.

You can click on the purple AmazonSmile button below, and you will be taken to our Holiday toy wish list to purchase a gift

for a child. This toy will be sent to Working Dreams for the Holiday Toy Event 2020. Please do not forget to fill out the gift

tag on Amazon so we know who to thank!

We are asking our wonderful and loyal donors to help this year by sending a toy or toys or by sending a monetary donation via PayPal or a check to Working Dreams to help our Foster Youth have some semblance of normalcy during the holidays. 100% of all monies and toys received will benefit our Foster Youth.
